"A
Brief History"
Located on the King’s Road, just off the
market place, Norman Baum’s Regency Suite
is situated in one of North Ormesby’s
historical buildings dating back to 1871.
Originally dwelling houses, Norman Baum bought
his first property in 1952, opening a café
downstairs and renovating the top floor into
a restaurant.
Gradually, over the years, Norman bought the
properties either side of the original and carried
on renovations until the restaurant occupied
five properties.
Today, standing proudly amongst the small businesses
of King’s Road, Norman Baum’s Regency
Suite has fed and entertained generations of
local and not so local people, who still enjoy
the atmosphere that the restaurant provides.
From wedding receptions, to 21st birthday parties,
christening’s to corporate dinners, theme
nights to Christmas lunches, hen parties to
romantic dinners, the restaurant offers something
for everyone, for every occasion, and remains
one of the most popular eateries in Teesside.
